STF has long been a source of custom & unique wood products. We offer enhanced wood items such as trusses, beams, rails & stairs, mantels & bar tops, window & door trim packages, and ceiling & flooring planks.

We offer both new and recycled wood with various treatment options available such as hewing, sand blasting or hand grinding timbers to your preferred level of patina. There are several species of wood that are more commonly used for structural or any large timber work and there are species that are more commonly used for flooring planks. These are some of the choices that are yours to make!

STF is located just north of Nevada City, CA. We encourage early visits so specific timbers can be reserved and there is time for ordering other wood if needed, for air drying new timbers prior to shop work and for processing our mill work.
